  • Security Forces Support Presidential Funeral

    Security Forces members are charged with a range of challenging responsibilities, to include the duty of standing guard, being vigilant in watching for threats to a base and protecting their fellow Airmen. Among the myriad tasks a Security Forces Airman performs, the most somber is the support of funeral services. In December, ten members from the 136th Security Forces Squadron had the honor of assisting with funeral services for George H.W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States.
  • Chilean Airmen Observe 136 Vision Through NVGs

    As part of a State Partnership Program (SPP), the 136th Airlift Wing hosted Chilean Air Force members July 24-28, 2018, at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas. Chilean and Texas Air National Guard maintenance and operations Airmen worked side by side on various crew chief tasks, C-130 upkeep as well as insight through Night Vision Goggle (NVG) training.
