MOH O'malley
Former U.S. Marine Corps SGT Robert E. O'Malley, Vietnam Medal of Honor recipient salutes at the crowd of military service members during the annual MOH parade held at Gainesville, Texas, the Host City for MOH, April 9, 2011. He is escorted by members of the 136th Airlift Wing, Texas Air National Guard. His heroic act saved the lives of his wounded Marines by jumping into the trench, attacking the enemy with his rifle and grenades and singly killed eight of the them on August 18, 1965.
