The 181st Operations Group, part of the 136th Airlift Wing, and Chilean air force embrace after completing a joint flight during Mobility Guardian near Spokane, Wash., on September 20, 2019. Some of the Chilean airmen who participated were involved in the C-130 crash December 9, 2019, occurring in the Drake Passage while en route to a Chilean military base on King George Island in Antarctica. A candlelight vigil was held to honor those fallen Chilean State Partners on December 19, 2019, at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas.
